Frank Pergolizzi has provided consulting services to the collegiate athletics community since the fall of 2006. He has delivered services to a large number of collegiate athletic departments and conferences in the areas of strategic planning, program reviews, coaching searches and NCAA self studies/certification. Other specialized areas of expertise include Gender Equity/Title IX reviews, business planning, the NCAA Division III Financial Audit process and mentoring programs for new athletic administrators. Frank prides himself on his ability to truly understand the issues in your athletics program and helping the client develop individualized strategies and plans to respond to both challenges and opportunities.

Frank has been Director of Athletics at West Virginia University Institute of Technology since July of 2009. He has also served as Director of Athletics at Southeastern Louisiana University, East Tennessee State University and Saint Francis University (PA). During his six years at Southeastern (2000-2006), Frank increased the athletic department’s revenue and fan support, made facility improvements, and led the efforts to reinstate the school’s football program. In his two-year stay at ETSU, the Bucs captured five Southern Conference championships, produced four NCAA All-Americans and sent four teams to NCAA championships.

Frank served on the NCAA Division I Championships/Competition Cabinet, the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics and as a member of the Division I Committee on Athletics Certification. Frank was also an active participant in the NCAA Peer Review Process, accepting twelve different assignments. He has been a member of the NCAA Division I-AA Athletic Directors Executive Committee and was a speaker at the NCAA Compliance Seminars in 1992 and 1995 as well as the NCAA Title IX Seminar in 2001.

During Frank’s tenure at St. Francis, the 19-sport Red Flash program boasted eight Northeast Conference team titles and gained berths in four NCAA championships. The Red Flash women's basketball squad earned a bid to the NCAA tournament three consecutive years (1996-'98), while St. Francis won the 1996-97 Northeast Conference Women's Commissioner's Cup for best overall women's athletic program. In the spring of 1998, the overall program took over the top spot in the Northeast Conference Commissioner’s Cup for the first time in the College’s history. Under his guidance, women's golf and women's swimming were added to the St. Francis athletics program.
